Try to reset the emulator parameters. remove the sdcard , press select, choose "clear eeprom" -> yes.
Casio FZ-1 and HxC Floppy Drive Emulator
Re: Casio FZ-1 and HxC Floppy Drive Emulator
Re: Casio FZ-1 and HxC Floppy Drive Emulator
Thank you, but it doesnt work.
Well, I formatted the SD Card on a mac... but formatted as FAT.
I wanted to try that again on a windows-PC...
Dont know if that is a case, MacOSX always puts some hidden folders on it.
Perhaps Windows doesnt...
Or my FZ1 isnt working right.

Re: Casio FZ-1 and HxC Floppy Drive Emulator
Is the FZ1 trying to read the emulator ? do you see something change on the emulator when you try to read ?Tobias909 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 24, 2019 2:06 pm Thank you, but it doesnt work.

Re: Casio FZ-1 and HxC Floppy Drive Emulator
I installed the emulator. Sd version, on my FZ. Works great. I plopped the files from the zip onto the sd card.
I can seem to load some banks. They have a few sounds on them from the zip file?
I tried for the first time to actually sample but I get a memory full. That is with a bank loaded. I can't sample anything without it loaded. Do I need a bunch of blank fz files on the SD card to load up to add samples to? Like memory slots? Or virtual blank floppies? Thanks

Re: Casio FZ-1 and HxC Floppy Drive Emulator
I would try and redo this on a pc. I have a Mac but chose to use a pc with sd card slot to do this. It worked for me. .Tobias909 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 24, 2019 2:06 pm Thank you, but it doesnt work.

Re: Casio FZ-1 and HxC Floppy Drive Emulator
Theres all kinds of instructions on how to load a floppy image or convert one. But I don't see anything on how to sample directly on the sampler and save the file. Without a computer. How do I do this? Is anyone out there? Help, SOS Thanks.
Re: Casio FZ-1 and HxC Floppy Drive Emulator
Not sure if this question is directly related to the hxc emulator but you may need to check the Casio FZ-1 user manual.
The SD HxC Floppy Emulator work as a floppy disk drive. just copy/past some blank casio hfe file on the sdcard.
Re: Casio FZ-1 and HxC Floppy Drive Emulator
Well, that is an important piece of information. I need blank hfe files in the sd card. Where do I find those? Thanks!!
Re: Casio FZ-1 and HxC Floppy Drive Emulator
Re: Casio FZ-1 and HxC Floppy Drive Emulator
I already added those files to the sd card. It works, but I don't see a bunch of blank hfe files, though. Isn't that what I need on the card to sample and save on the FZ?
Re: Casio FZ-1 and HxC Floppy Drive Emulator
Try to format one of these files and then just duplicate the hfe file on the sdcard.
Re: Casio FZ-1 and HxC Floppy Drive Emulator
sorry to be so thick. I am using an OSX Mac. How would I format the hfe file? Basically make a Bunch of blank hfe files. ?? Thanks for the help
Re: Casio FZ-1 and HxC Floppy Drive Emulator
