Best way to connect HxC to Atari ST?

Sorry if I'm just ignorant and missing something obvious mentioned elsewhere. What's the best or standard way to connect the HxC to an Atari (1040) ST model? First I thought, well, lets just use the existing data and power cables from the floppy drive which I won't need anymore anyway. But they're way too short. I've seen videos where some guys have those cables going out of the floppy disk slot to their HxC and was under the impression they did this with the original cables, now I think they must have desoldered the old and soldered new longer cables. At least in my Atari they are fixed on the board end, no easy replacing possible. I like to find a solution without having to solder anything because I don't have a steady enough hand and high risk of breaking something. Does anyone offer extension cables for the Atari FDD somewhere? Or am I missing another more convenient solution?
