Adding a label to a .img file

Is it possible to add a disk label to an .img file. I am using HxCFloppyEmulator version 2.16.3.2

What do you mean by disk label ? The boot sector disk label ?

I am referring to the volume label - this is what I would use the DOS "LABEL" command to set.
