Hello,
I have imaged a Commodore 64 5.25" with a YE DATA YD-380 drive (HD, double-sided) at 360 RPM. I am aware that it is not the most suitable drive to do an image of a Commodore 64 5.25", but this is the situation.
I figured out that using the parameter FLUXSTREAM_IMPORT_PCCAV_TO_C64CLV to 360 and C64 track analysis format gave me good results and visualisation (see highly compressed attached JPG image).
However, I am a bit lost to what to do afterwards, specifically to what format I can export to keep the good results, and then reuse this image somewhere else (to extract files or run it into a C64 emulator).
What would be your recommendation?

Yes the hxc software seems to decode this disk perfectly.
About the C64 target images this is a good question... Is there an "easy to implement" format for these machines ? (i mean something not too much complex : For example : NOT an IPF like format )

Re: 5.25" C64 floppy imaged with HD drive
Well, first, this is good news!
My question was more general on what format I should export the decoded image to if I want to reuse it (even outside C64 emulators). I have failed to export to a basic RAW format, but this might be because of some misunderstanding from my side on the tool.
Any format that I could use that is not Pauline's hxcstream format? I have not been able to export to any format, always getting empty files.
