Roland SD35 not reading midi file images

Post by Slats »

I have fitted a Gotek disk emulator that came ready with Flash Floppy firmware to my SD35 which is a midi file player with built in sound canvas. When I plug in the usb stick with images I've created with HxC software the player gives a disc error message & is unable to read the midi files I added to the images. The Gotek came modified with a selector rotary knob & digital readout.
I've read in earlier posts that this is a suitable mod for the SD35. Any suggestions as to what I may be doing incorrectly please.

Hello,

I can't provide support for this. I can only provide help/support if you use an HxC2001 product (firmware and/or hardware made by Lotharek).

The good news is that you can install the HxC firmware on this Gotek with an USB stick :D :

Just get the HxC license on this page :
https://hxc2001.com/store/index.html
And then send me an email to get the files for the USB stick installation ! (hxc2001 at hxc2001 dot com)

Thanks !
