Fitting internally in case

Post by StarshipUK »

I wondered if anyone could offer any advice about fitting the HXC internally in a CPC6128.

I have seen the video http://youtu.be/bnyC5te6Mn0 which shows the HXC is fitted straight and flush in the case in the original 3" drive slot.

However with mine it is too wide using the existing screw holes. Has the case or the HXC been modified to make it fit correctly?

To show what I mean, this is how I fit it straight: http://www.ride-the-music.com/einstein/ ... 010089.JPG which means the case will not close like this: http://www.ride-the-music.com/einstein/ ... 010090.JPG or like this: http://www.ride-the-music.com/einstein/ ... 010092.JPG and the only way to close the case is to turn the HXC at an angle like this: http://www.ride-the-music.com/einstein/ ... 010093.JPG

If anyone has any advice I would be grateful.
