Hello,
I've got a HxC SD plugged with an amstrad 6128+ (external connector) and I worked out that the pin connexion was something like :
HxC CPC
ID0 -- PIN 9 (NC)
ID1 -- PIN 11 (DS1)
ID2 -- PIN 13 (NC)
ID3 -- PIN 15 (MOTOR ON)
I would like to have a "clean" (not use "MOTOR ON", common to both drives) solution to be able to use the card as Drive A and Drive B, so I connected DS0 from my CPC to PIN9 which gives the following :
HxC CPC
ID0 -- PIN 9 (DS0)
ID1 -- PIN 11 (DS1)
ID2 -- PIN 13 (NC)
ID3 -- PIN 15 (MOTOR ON)
I bridged ID0/A et ID1/B and it works, but ...
Only the last chosen disk image is recognized for both Drives (A and B)
I'm almost 100% sure that I linked ID0 to "Drive Select 0" and ID1 to "Drive Select 1".
As anybody experienced similar a issue ?
What did I do wrong ?
Thanks.
(Nice little peace of hardware by the way)
Two drives, yes but ...
Re: Two drives, yes but ...
It works now.
The solution was to upgrade to firmware 1.5.1.0
Thanks.
