Plugging HxC as second drive to a DDI-I

Post by papichapo »

Hello,

is it possible to connect the HxC to a FD-1 interface, thus allowing to use both the 3" floppy and the HxC, in order to copy data between disks and SD cards ?

I've a 464 with a DDI-1 ans I want to backup all my old datas (and prevent floppy wear...).

Thanks in advance.

I've first the problem to connect it on the FD-1 wire, since this wire has 2 lugs on each connector.
I need to cut the hcx floppy connector but on what side : board-internal or external ?

After that, how to plug jumpers to act as a first or second 464 drive (of course, hcx plugged on the right position of the FD-1 ribbon...) ? User's manual does not show this case.
