SD EMU REV-F - PC PII-BX chipset boot problem

Post by simeng »

Hello , I have REV F - HXC SD Floppy Drive Emulator from Lotharek shop . Maybe im doin something wrong . Im not able to boot from emulated 3,5" 1,44 FD .
My PC is PII / BX chipset . Boot from HDD to freedos on this machine is OK - emulated FDD is accessible and I can read files on emulated FDD on this machine. When i try to boot from emulated FDD ( for instance from your MsDOs6.22.HFE ) . System says > " No operating system ". I tried to check BIOS if teh A: drive is on the boo list .
Connection - untwisted cable / first connector and ID2 switch ON only .
I have read lots of posts , and didnt find any simIar problem except this one - but it was a matter of PC's CPU .
Thanks in advance for any advice.

!!! SOLVED !!! - My fault guys ! I have found little bit hidden BIOS settings for FDD type - there was a 5,25" - 1.2MB FDD set in BIOS ( with AUTO FDD detection .... ) . After manual and 3,5" 1,44 MB type - alles in ordung!!!!
