Have ordered one, and now I've seen this I can't wait either! 8)

Am curious to know max partition size and if it can run alongside floppy emulation?

Interesting...
I find it strange that it needs an IMG file, a separate partition on the SD card would have the following advantages :
* No risk of fragmentation
* Easier access to the file from a PC (since it can read FAT12)

Why did you choose to use a file ?

Anyway, this will be very useful, I'll try it next time I plug my Atari and start to copy my disks to SDcards :)

In fact didn't choose since i am not the author of the driver ;-).

You are right but in fact don't forget that the Atari ST don't know how access a FAT32 partition.
And must have a tool to partition the sdcard... not so trivial under windows ;-)
In fact i think that windows mount only the first partition of a removable media...

The Satandisk/UltraSatan works like this, but if you read some atari forum,it seems that this is not so easy to make an working partition for the ST under Windows...

Anyway i think that this something that can be done very easily.

Yes, I'm not using only Windows on my PC fortunately
I saw on the linked page that questions had to be directed here, so I think the author will be reading ? :) (well, even if the "official topic" isn't created yet...)

I ask this because finding the IMG file means you are more or less able to read the FAT32 partition, so it gets likely more complicated than needed on the ST, wouldn't it be better to make it complicated on the PC side which has more computing power instead ? :)

Managed to spend some time and gave it a quick whirl!

Gotta say guys, really awesome work for first go!

Was able to run CHKDSK on it and loaded a game from it with no problems at all! I totally look forward to the future improvements! Probably try some actual speed tests tomorrow, see what I can crank out of this puppy!

Test machine was a Mega ST2 TOS 1.02

*Update*
Some results using HOW_FAST with the default settings

I was able to download the driver and run it on my ST, but I haven't been able to create a working supported image file for it.
