SOLVED!!!!!

It ended up being a bad cable between the OLED and GoTek main board. All working great now including rotary switch. Sound isn't working but I think it's a faulty speaker issue.

Fine !
For the sound this is probably related to the Artery IC. i will fix this in a next version.

Hi Jeff

Is there an ETC on the Artery GoTek sound issue? I have 3 Artery GoTeks with HxC firmware missing sound. I consider them bricked until a fix is made.
I have tried 4 different Piezo buzzers, none work.

I have installed Flash Floppy on my remaining, completely identical, Artery GoTek stock, all of which have perfectly working sound.

Thus it should be possible to fix this.

Keep up the good work, Sir!

Best regards,
Rasmus

This is now fixed in the v4.0.5.3 (in the WIP folder) :

This is fantastic news!

I hereby confirm that the update file
HxCFEUSB_V4_0_5_3a.UPD
located in the folder
WIP_Firmware
in the zip file you linked DOES INDEED fix the sound on my Artery GoTeks.

However, version v4.0.5.2a on the Firmware Customization page does NOT
https://hxc2001.com/custom_fw/index.html

This means that I can now use my Artery GoTeks with track sound, but without any customization, so my OLED 128x64 displays running in 128x64 mode looks... a bit garbled :-)

Big ups Jeff, we're almost there!

Best Regards,
Rasmus

And I hereby CONFIRM that it WORKS !

Fresh UPD file built from the configurator, works with sound and custom setting for OLED screen size. Rotary encoder works as well.
On an Artery GoTek.

Beautiful!

Thank you Jeff!
