Hey Guys! I’m a little stuck here... I purchased a gotek drive off of eBay to install into my Atari ST 1040F. I put jumpers on M0 & S0 inserted flash drive into unit with the config file and “autoboot”.
It boots up to the user interface floppy manager where I can select my roms, however when I load the selected file it will restart and boot back up into the floppy manager again I can’t get it to load anything else.
Sticker on the unit says
HxC#245
Retronic Design
USB HxCFloppyEmulator v3.0.8.2a
Let me know what I not doing correct...
Atari 1040STF and gotek emu
Re: Atari 1040STF and gotek emu

Only difference is the Firmware ver on the bottom left of the screen says FW v3.1.30.1a

Re: Atari 1040STF and gotek emu
Have you updated the AUTOBOOT.HFE and the Config file aswell ?
(BTW : Remove the "MO" Jumper !)
Re: Atari 1040STF and gotek emu
I do have the updated HXCSDFE.CFG and AUTOBOOT.HFE files. Jumper is now removed
I noticed when I power on the ST it will display "000" then when the file selector boots it shows dashes "= = =".
When I execute a rom to run it will flash "001" quickly followed by "Err" then "000" and brings me back to the file selector.

Ok then the problem is probably the file image you are trying to load.XLR-VIII wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 8:04 pmI do have the the updated HXCSDFE.CFG and AUTOBOOT.HFE files. Jumper is now removed
