any way to clear all the slots using hxc manager?
ok so i filled about 50 slots with automation menu discs... but now want to clear all the slots using the manager... any way of doing this?
Re: any way to clear all the slots using hxc manager?
sure, just delete Your USB stick / autoboot.hfe

Overwrite the cfg file is enough to reset the list.DjCook wrote:sure, just delete Your USB stick / autoboot.hfe

What are the chances of adding this functionality to the actual Atari ST HXC manager, so it can be done from in there rather than having to eject...startup pc...insert in to pc...overwrite cfg? OIr did I misunderstand.

Hello Jeff, just wondering if you have put out a new version of the Atari ST hxc manager yet which has this "clear all slots" function?

Re: any way to clear all the slots using hxc manager?
Hi Jeff
I finally got chance to get my STE out of the attic, and set it up...
Now I'm not sure what I'm missing but I don't have the "clear all slots" function?
I have updated firmware of my slim sd emulator to FW V2.1.2.40
I have copied autoboot.hfe from the latest SDCard_HxC_Floppy_Emulator_Manager 02/01/2019 and placed on my SD card
I have hxcsdfe.cfg from latest slim software
On screen the menu selector shows HxC Floppy Emulator file selector v1.89a - but only "backspace" to clear one slot, no option for clear all slots?
Am I doing something wrong or using wrong autoboot software/cfg ?

In the file selector, select the first line, go into the settings page, choose "Clear all slots !".

Yes the unfortunate reality of having small children stops any retro-gaming!
OK great I will try that, thankyou
