Try it first directly from the GEM desktop since i am not sure about the boot loader.
(Are you expecting to boot from the drive B: anyway ? Is it even possible ?)

It seems to work => selection is done in HXC.
Except when quitting it goes back to gem and then I get 4 bombs.

You got the bombs on the gem or before ?
do you have the bombs with the normal file selector ?

Hi Jeff,

After quitting the selector, the os goes back to gem desktop (without resetting) then after a few seconds the desktop crashes with 4 bombs.

I will not try the regular version as it kills my floppy A drive each time I launch it
Anyway even if desktop crashes, the image selection into HXC seems to be done correctly.

Then this may mean that something is not released/restored properly. Will have to check the irq vectors
