Hi.. wondering if this drive emul is able to read amiga floppy disks to the sdcard, without pc/amiga interaction..
or, if not, could it do it with custom firmware ?
I've got a rather large pile of disks to pull data off & looking for a way to attempt it without tying up a pc / amiga for weeks.. If I could read (even as raw) the data from the disks to files on sd, then I could run the whole lot from a smallish psu & just swap disks as required..

mhhh no sorry, the hardware wasn't designed to do this.
did you know this hardware ?:

Yep, saw that one in my searching today.. while it looks nice for the actual capturing .. it's pretty heavily dependent on having a pc glued to it..
At least for non complicated disks, with no oddball formats (mainly straight amiga dos, or msdos), was hoping it'd be easier to just suck the content direct from the drive onto an sdcard (or cfcard, or usb stick.. etc)
(then.. given how many disks I need to get thru.. multi drives / controllers to do a few in parallel )
