LCD 2004 Support and Rotary Encoder

Post by Cihan »

I have a Gotek with a 3 digit 7 Seg Display and 2 Buttons.

Is it possible to use an 2004 LCD. I atteched and it worked, but no use of the more available space.
And how about the current? Is it enough? Because after a minute the contrast of the display wents away, like its dying in the moment.
I put off the Amiga to avoid damage. First thought was that I made a mistake with the wiring.

And can I use a Rotary Encoder instead of the buttons?

Like Left Right S3 S4 and push button JA?
It would great with a big Display for the Images and a Rotary Encoder to select it.

Greets from Germany.

Yes 128x64 screens are supported. You can change/select the screen model on this page : https://hxc2001.com/custom_fw/
