I have SD floppy emulator Rev C....latest firmware.
When it starts to read disk 2 of this demo it seems to get stuck reading the same 3 sectors over and over again.
The demo does eventually start after a few minutes but hangs after about 30 seconds because the floppy emulator doesn't appear to be reading disk 2 correctly.
Has anyone managed to get this demo working?

Use the HFE rev 2 experimental file format.mappy24 wrote:I have SD floppy emulator Rev C....latest firmware.

Re: Jesus on E's demo
Sorry, I should have said, I've already tried the HFE rev 2 experimental file format, it doesn't make any difference.
I'll try again when I get home later just to make sure.
Thanks!

Re: Jesus on E's demo
No luck, even tried a different dump that I found here:
http://aminet.net/demo/mega/lsd_joe1fixed.dms
http://aminet.net/demo/mega/lsd_joe2.dms
I tried both HFE and HFE Experimental Rev 2, it doesn't make any difference.
The problem is the same, it's very slow to start but it does start eventually. The demo runs for about 5-10 minutes and the music stops then it crashes. It's like the HXC can't provide the data quickly enough to keep it going.
If anyone has managed to play the whole demo can you let me know?
Thanks!

I cannot help you without them!
For sure this is not the issue.mappy24 wrote: It's like the HXC can't provide the data quickly enough to keep it going.
Once again i need the files that you are using on the sdcard...
EDIT:
Interesting :

EDIT2:I'm not sure of the origin of this patch, but it works quite nicely on
my machine. The original disk 1 of LSD-JOE would load for 15-20 minutes
before giving me about 30 seconds of demo and crashing. I was able to
run the demo on my machine using this version of Disk 1.
This archive contains the entire DISK 1. Delete your old one, it is not
required!
I have just retry it just in case of : Run very nicely !
Some tips :
This demo WANT to use DF0 & DF1 in the same time ! Place the first disk into DF0 and the other one into DF1.
Use the Rev 2 HFE format.
Just in case of i sent to you the very last firmware used by email.
Re: Jesus on E's demo
I updated the firmware and played the demo to the end
I am very happy, thank you for your assistance with this!
