My Hxc2001 got crazy

Post by elpiloto »

My Hxc2001 started with a strange (at least for me) behavor, it start clicking, swapping disks and eject them till i remove the sd. The floppy cable is ok, and the jumper setting is ok.
My config is A500 rev 6A with dkb megachip, roctec rochard 800 with 8 mb of ram and 2 hard disks on it, im using a 450 atx psu with a cable adaptor.
I need some light here.

cheers

Which "HxC2001" ? WHich firmware ?

Overwrite your CFG file by a new one.

If still doesn't solve the issue :

Please check the power supply voltage & connection !

Hi Jeff, the hxc2001 with blue screen rev c, fwr 1.7.2.0, the voltages and connections are ok, first of all i tried to overwritte the cfg file and the autoboot, didnt work, finally i decided to upload the fwr again and now everything seems to work ok again, could be some thing that corrupts some part of the fwr?

cheers

Very unlikely. I suppose that to update again the firmware you have reformated the sd card ?

this was probably the solution : The FAT FS was maybe broken.

well, at last i figured out what was going on with this strange behaviour, its simple, the 5V line of the power suply was a little down, new psu solved the problem
