Korg DSS-1 *.DSK support question.

Hi, I have sucsessfully been using my DSS1 with a gotek and hfe converted images. I would however like to reduce the file size from the 1961kb hfe file by exporting to the *.DSK extention is this possible? I have attempted to export the predefined Korg DSS-1 raw image and save it as the CPC disk file using your software, but the DSS-1 reports it as unformatted. The DSS-1 will format the 841kb image but it occsionally exhibits write errors. Is there a solution to sucsessfully use *.DSK images?

You should be able to use img file if you select the korg system family.

I will try that soon thanks, I think some of my issues have been with the latest FW, I have created a seperate post regarding that.

Where do i select the "korg system family" ? I created a DSS-1 DD raw image and then exported / saved that as "img" (raw sector file format) but that image just causes the DSS-1 to display a "drive not ready" alert.

Selected korg system in menu, still getting "DRIVE NOT READY!".

I have attached the img I created from the DSS predefined template. I have tried many different existing images all with the same extension and file size (800kb) but all are seen as unformatted by the DSS-1 and cause the Drive not ready alert when attempting to format?

Which Gotek have you ? An STM32 Gotek or an Artery AT32 Gotek ?
