Hi Jeff,
I have a gotek connected to a ftdi232-interface -> USB on Laptop. All connections (gnd, vcc, tx, rx) seems to be correct.
Ftdi232-board lights up red when connected. Serialbridge-software seems to link up to server and find a device at com3, but then just freezes and never starts the transfer.
I have tried this with several ftdi232-units. It seems to be a software problem. Any suggestions?
Serialbridge doesnt transfer to gotek via ftdi232

Same problem.
I'm using the adafruit FTDI friend
https://www.adafruit.com/product/284
FTDI -> GoTek
TX -> RX
RX -> TX
GND -> GND
Ive tried:
VCC -> +5v
and
5+VDC and GND from host system power (Floppy power connector)
Tried both power sources with GoTek RTS -> GND several times and also tried FTDI RTS -> GoTek RTS.
None of this works.
Note: My FTDI Friend us unmodified so logic level is +3.3v and VCC is +5.

You need to put your login in the "Login" field, not an IP address.

Yes each support case are generally different. but i am already supporting you by email (preferred method), i am not sure that there is any interest to duplicate it on the forum...burnclouds wrote: ↑Sun Nov 01, 2020 10:32 pmUnderstood about the emails and a diferent problem.
