Updating Hxc Firmware on Gotek

Updating a HxC gotek drive, i get the little snake-procedure, 3 flashes and then normal operation on the display. Is this error #3 "FAT error", or have I just updated the software successfully? (USB-stick is formatted with FAT32).

This is fine. You can check the currently installed version :

remove the stick, press both buttons, choose 'F' and read the numbers.
