Hi Jeff,

Many thanks again for your help. BBut i am still having issues with it all. :?: It seems no matter what files i put on, i keep getting the same results brother!

Indexed Root:
Indexed mode
HxCFEUSB_V3...
DSKA0000_MyIndexed....
mount

Held buttons both, for a few seconds and hold all the way... "nor" result

Auto Root:
Autoboot..
HxCFEUSB_V3...

Held buttons both, for a few seconds and hold all the way... "nor" result

Also FYI, the jumper is on S1. Is this an issue with why it's not loading anything else?

I have read and re read everything and I just don't see anything obvious that I I've done wrong. So far, I have got ridden of the "rib", message.

Thank you for your time!! :D 8)

But why you are you "Held buttons both, for a few seconds and hold all the way" ? The firmware is already installed. No need to do this now !
On which machine do you want to install the drive ?

Because I thought holding the buttons down was to install indexed files on to the gotek? But when it boots up, I get "nor"??

I am to use my gotek on a EMU e6400 (classic) sampler.
The gotek has rotary knob and 3 digit screen

So I've been trying to understand and use the indexed files on flash drive.

What am I doing so wrong? πŸ˜‚πŸ™ˆ

Remove all files/folders from your usb stick.
Unpack the attached file to your usb stick root folder.

So there is some progress!!
It now boots up "hxc" then displays "000"
I have tried to load some sounds someone gave me, "DSKA0070.hfe" format.
I set up a new folder on usb stick and put them in there. But when booted in machine, (1) The machine runs REALLY slow... Could a ram card help it? And (2), the EMU doesn't seem to find these sounds. The EMU reads "invalid folder, invalid bank"
Rotary knob functions but displays - when turning.

Sorry if this is frustrating you :|

Then remove the .IMG, unpack the attached image to the stick, and try to format the image with the e6400.
