Peavey DPM SP

Post by teevee »

Hi,
I found this device from Peavey called “DPM SP”, which is basically a sample-playback device. I have already installed my Gotek USB Floppy drive.

I want to test one of the floppies here below:
http://www.spsamplesite.com/id6.htm

the format is called ”.SP”, how do I convert such to a compatible .HFE for my USB drive with HxC Floppy emulator Software?

Note:
* I have set jumper on S0.
* I have attached a picture from the manual about the floppy drive.

This appears to be a normal 1.44MB format (18x2x80x512). Just change the extension to .IMG and use them directly on the emulator.
You may need to change the floppy interface mode into the embedded menu (ibm pc hd, shugart or S950HD are the plausible settings).

Hi, wondering if you were able to run HxC with DPM SP and can share the settings?
Do you happen to have OS 2.10 that you can share too? I'd like to load akai disks, but it seems required.
