Write from Atari ST on Gotek USB stick

Post by bmarcant »

I have a Gotek with a 7-segment display, set in my Atari 1040 ST, so my Gotek works in "Indexed Mode" with a "HXCSDFE.CFG" file (copied from "Config_Files/Normal_mode/" directory as said in the documentation).

I use a "Floppy Emulation from USB stick folder", so on the stick there are a "/mount/emptyfat.img" and a "DSKA0000_xxxx.mnt" files.

The problem is that, from the Atari ST, I can't write anything to the Gotek USB stick. For example : "DESKTOP.INF", "LST"-files from GFA Basic, etc. From Atari ST screen, these files are seen on Disk A.

Is there something I missed ?

The usb stick folder is not updated yet.
I recommend you to use the partition mode : https://hxc2001.com/docs/gotek-floppy-e ... ition.html

Effectively, that works better in partition mode. Thanks !
