which config must be used for a roland e-96 keyboard

Post by straatsma »

Hello

I received the hxc emulator and installed it in the roland e-96. I formatted a sdhc 2gb and i have to put the config file onto it but which config file will work correctly ? next is the format of the disks a have. the extensions used by roland are *.stl and *.uss how can i convert these files ?
And the keyboard also says disk not ready ?

who can help with the answers.

with kind regards

Can you send me these files please ?

EDIT: the e-96 use DOS formatted floppy ?
If yes download this:
https://hxc2001.com/download/floppy_dri ... 2_beta.zip

"Create FS Floppy"
Select " 3"5 1.44MB DSHD FAT12 " -> Create Disk
Drag & Drop your stl/uss files on this window.
On the main window -> export-> HFE file -> Save.

You can use the default settings for the config file.

jean-francois from hxc2001 helped out and gave me following information that solved the problem.

"Unzip the attached file to the sdcard. The unzipped files must be in the usb stick root folder.

Set the ID0-A,ID1-A,ID2-A and ID3-A switches to ON (number 1,2,3 & 4)"

that, in the end, worked for me. so, thanks jean-francois!
