Roland G-800 and Gotek Emulator

I have successfully flashed the Gotek and have formatted a USB stick to FAT32 with the relevant software but am having trouble getting the Roland to recognise the Gotek, it came up with E 3 first and now it comes up with 00 F0 (flashing one 00 then flashing F0). What does this mean? I loaded up the AutoBoot Mode to the USB, perhaps I need to use the Indexed Mode instead?

Success at last! Thanks to Jean-Francois who gave me very clear instructions on what to do. My USB Gotek Emulator now shows the HxC latest firmware is uploaded and it is good to go! Onward and upward with the music projects, recording and mixing...never a dull moment!
