I made 1,000 Akai S900 Images for the HXC Emulator. If anyone wants to avoid the hassle let me know. I can post them for download.

Can someone please help? I've installed a FAT32 HxC formatted Gotek drive on my S900. Downloaded and unzipped the folder provided in this thread. Copied all CFG/HFE files to root folder on USB. Insert USB - Gotek reads 000 through to 999. Hit DISK then ENTER and nothing loads  Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Are you at least using an HxC Floppy Emulator hardware and/or HxC firmware ?

I'm using the HxC Floppy Emulator hardware. I downloaded the latest firmware but can't seem to install it properly. I'm using a USB stick formatted as FAT32. I placed 1000 image files on the stick along with the HXCSDFE.CFG file. I placed the USB stick in the Gotek. When I press the DISK button on the S900, I get a message that says "OOPS! Disk not mounted". The Floppy Emulator appears to be install correctly. I found some instructions that said to make sure the ribbon pins are aligned correctly and to only have jumper S0 connected. I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to this but I'd like to get it up and running. I'm also considering changing the 3.5 floppy drive on my Emu SP1200. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

LOL Told you I was a novice. This is what I have: https://hxc2001.com/store/

Without the USB stick inserted, the display reads "00.0." and the LED remains green.

Thanks.

So the gotek is not flashed with the HxC firmware.
You need first to install the HxC firmware (https://hxc2001.com/store/).
A gotek with the factory firmware doesn't work with Akai S900.

Thanks. I’ll give it a shot. Should the jumpers remain on the factory settings?

Okay Jeff. So I flashed the Gotek with the applicable firmware update. The display now indicates "HxC", however it's also indicating "FAT". It switching between the too. Also after I flashed the drive, the display indicated "Ldr" then "NFL". Is this an issue? Thanks.
