Brother BAS-310 pattern sewing machine

Hi everyone. I’ve come here for help. I have a Brother BAS-310 and after many years of use the programmer that comes with it is missing.
I have followed YouTube videos to set up the emulator. I think it’s installed correctly as it appears to be reading the USB stick.
The problem I have is adding the sewing patterns to the USB stick, I’m totally stuck and have no idea what I need to do. So far I haven’t found anything online on how to make the .HFC files from the sewing patterns output from the Brother PS-300B to a readable format by my sewing machine.
I’ve tried using some .HFC test files for the Brother machines and they are being read (the green light flashes and the machine registers a pattern) when I select the disk image and pattern in the machine.
Any help would be great.
