D64 export as SCP crash

Post by ILAH »

When i load a .d64 file an try to export as .scf the hxc software crashes. I get a .scp file saved but it is not working properly when writing back to floppy disk.

Is there a way to „convert“ .d64 to .scp?

P.S.I got the hint in the Greaseweazle FB group that scp rrack table should be 168 entries instead of 166.

Wow, that is fast. Thank you. No crash anymore.

I try to write this resulting scp to disk with Greaseweazle.
I still get an error message „SCP: Missing track signature“.

Any hints?

I don't know, probably an issue with Greaseweazle.

I can read back these scp and this was tested by JimDrew (the SCP format and SuperCard Pro author).

And about this, this is not really true, the number of entries change regularly. You can't expect to have the same number of entries in all SCP files.

Still have a doubt about the min/max track fields so i mailed JimDrew to clarify this point.

When i try to use the .scp file and convert with fluxengine i get an error message „scp file corrupt“. This seems to be a problem between different apps and scp format files.

Yes single sided SCP are badly supported everywhere.

Is it possible to load a .g64 or .nib file as raw and export as .scp?

Maybe, but priority is the work on money-earning stuffs  .
I can't tell when this will be done.

But this is not hard to implement. are you a developer ? can you help ?
