I managed to play with the scope level to zoom in better on that waveform. Maybe this is more what you’re looking for?

Hi, I’m in the same situation with my P10!)) How did the story end?

I wish I knew.. lol... no progress since I don't even know what I'm supposed to be looking for on my scope.
I suspect Jeff has more pressing matters to attend to though... this is a pretty niche area of drive emulation.

I don't understand what i am seeing. Looks like an analog signal, but this may also be an issue with the measurement ;)

Hi Jeff... you should have said so earlier! What does/should the signal of interest look like if you could explain? I’m not 100% sure the pinout of this drive and where pin 1 starts and continues on the other side. But if I had more of a clue what kind of waveform/voltage I should be expecting to see on one of these pins it would be helpful. Also, is there a particular time I should be seeing the signal of interest, while idle, or during read/write? Unfortunately the tape cartridge I purchased got eaten by the drive when I tried it so I’m not sure how important it is to have for a signal capture...

Point me on the schematic what we see on the oscilloscope pictures.
