Renumbering sectors

Post by 68B09 »

Hi
In short, I am using a gotek drive with HxC firmware,
I have a TSC FLEX system disk image in IMD format and when I convert to hfe and view it with the track editor, the sectors are numbered 1-10.
This disk boots the system and works as it should, thank you Jeff!!!

However when I convert a TSC FLEX .DSK image to hfe and view it with the track editor, the sectors are numbered 0-9.
With the FLEX CAT, (DIR), command the disk doesn't show the directory.

There is more to this but I'm trying to keep this short, on larger .DSK images, if the directory is large enough to continue on to the next sector, the files in the next sector are then listed.

Is there a way to renumber the sectors from 0-9 to 1-10?

Thanks again!
Ted

What is this "DSK" ? An IMD file or just a plain raw sector file ?

Jeff
It is raw sector dump without metadata.
I will try the raw file button on the hfe panel and report back.
Thanks

Jeff
In short, I used the load raw file where i could specify the disk format.
I used sectors numbered 1-10 and the disk works properly now!

Thanks again for your efforts With the HxC products!
