Sharp MZ80B supported

Post by feldti »

I just finished putting the HxC Floppy Drive Emulator to the disc controller of a Sharp MZ80B (may have a look at http://www.sharpmz.org), got dsk files from http://www.sharpmz.org/mz-80b/download/rb_DSK.zip, converted them and the Sharp Basic booted at once.

Well, well - very nice ....

If you are still around, I could use some help with my MZ-80b. The video was great but really didn't show any 'how to' for us noobs.
Do you have disk basic HFE images?
Are there any settings I should use to get this working?
I assumed the cable is straight through 37 to 34 pin?
Have you tried to do it on a HxC flashed Gotek?

Thanks in advance.

I have not done very much with it forthe last 8 years ... some starting, but thats it. I used an original FDC controller card of the sharp computer and the cable is a straight cable.

The link is now:

http://original.sharpmz.org/mz-80b/download/rb_DSK.zip

try to download and store it because, the "B" infos are getting lost (older links are not working any more).
