Has anyone managed to get an Apricot PC/Xi (1983-1984 vintage) to connect to and read and write from a Rev C HxC SD card floppy emulator?
I have both, and am not finding it easy to verify that I am using the right 26pin to 34pin cable adapter, or exactly what settings I should use in the HXCSDFE.CFG file.
All the Apricot floppy image files I load, also do not display in the "Disk Browser" - just get a red "Null sized DOS image ! invalid disk !" message, even though the HFE file is large, and I can see data on the "Track Analyser"
The SONY OA-D32W-10 originally fitted was 2-head, 80 track, 600rpm, 512 byte sectors, MFM encodong at 500kb/s.
All help and suggestions gratefully accepted.
