In the hxcfloppyemulator_soft_release_notes.txt you refer to using XML files for saving and loading Raw formats :-
05 october 2014: HxCFloppyEmulator 2.0.26.0
Raw Loader - Predefined raw formats added (XML) :
03 January 2014: HxCFloppyEmulator 2.0.20.1
New Writer : XML files -> Disk layout can now be exported into XML
New Loader : XML files -> A disk can be generated from an XML file
Raw Loader : An XML file can now be used as disk layout
What is the format of these XML files and how are they used ?
The HxCFloppyEmulator.exe "Save Config" doesn't save in XML format (only *.fpe)
How do we create the XML file for a new RAW format that can be loaded using "Predefined Disk Layout" "XML file Disk Layout"

Predefined raw formats using XML files
Re: Predefined raw formats using XML files
Just export the current loaded image to XML. You can reload it like an floppy file image.
You can use this XML layout by selecting "XML file Disk Layout" into the RAW file format configuration window.
