Can retry the images with the firmware present in your mail box ?

AHA! :D

Now, time for implementing saving function, don't you think?

Oh, and .2mg images (Apple IIgs).

And as usual, take as long as you need!

For the moment i have no feedback at all. it seems that there is no so much interest... :(

I would like to on my IIe. I do not have a HDDD like the OP. I was wondering if I could unplug the cable from the Apple 5.25 floppy drive and plug the hxc directly to the logic board on the Apple 5.25 floppy drive?

EDIT-The 5.25 Apple drive cable doesn't look like the standard IBM PC 5.25" type connector.

I just got USB Emulator from Lotharek to work with my ST and I'm very happy.

Hi. Throughout the years I have seen several solutions to adapt PC 360K drives in order to work as DISK II drives on Apple2s. Apart from the obvious track control (4 phases to direction/step) signals there is some obscure to me conversion of the data pulses themselves. Can somebody explain me what is that conversion exactly. The result is amazing and the recorded diskette on a 360K drive is absolutely compatible with a DISK II drive systems...Initially that conversion was done with several 74LS123 and I believe HDDD is using the same method with more contemporary FPGA? But what are the basics of that conversion?

A kind of clock is added by the CPLD to reduce the pulses intervals to suppress the GCR 12uS interval and make the timings compatible with PC drives.

Hi. The Apple2's DISK II GCR flux reversal rate pulse is 4μS. Considering no more 2 consecutive 0's can be stored with Apple2' GCR that makes maximum pulse width of 8 μS. Where did you derive 12 μs from?
