Ok then remove completely the config file and use the embedded menu instead.

To access to the menu press both buttons without usb stick inserted.
The submenu you want to use is "interface cfg".
You can try different settings in this menu.

The custom settings for the pin02 and pin34 may be interesting. Pin 34 should be set to nReady and the pin 02 is the famous disk change signal. what you can try is to set to "High" and connect a wire to this signal and another one to the vss/gnd. When you connect these wires the machine "see" a disk-change event. Can you try this ? Have you a multimeter to make some measurements ?
Custom settings done. "interface cfg" done. I can do measurements, I have a multimeter, but i can't understand where is High signal point. Can you explain easier for me, please?

I mean : in the interface cfg -> custom ->pin 02 -> set it to "High".

Below you can see where is the pin 2 :

I will tell you in the next days, I have to open the Clavinova. Thanks again!

Try this before opening the Clavinova :
There is maybe a custom setting to try before playing with the wire :

- Pin 02: nDiskChange 1 (Head step only to clear it)
- Pin 34: nReady

Not working this. I put this custom settings you indicated on "interface cfg" (once done I have to revert to Shugart menu to exit from all menus).

What is not working ? The disk change ? or "nothing" ?
Can you retry with the normal firmware ?

So sorry, not working the disk change. I can't explain better because my English is limited.

When I move from one to another "disk" is not working well always (intermittent failures on disk changes and the load of it).

This last instruction from you not worked too.

Ok probably a timing issue somewhere. But i have an idea. I will send you a new firmware to try in some hours.

New firmware attached. Update it and let me know
Note : CFG file and internal settings are ignored in this one. The right interface mode is set in the binary.

EDIT: Try the firmware in the next post instead !

Yes, it knows that an USB is inserted and I can see the title of the images.
