Casio FZ "Floppy Disk Dump" question.

Post by agent29 »

Hi, I hope someone can shed some light on this issue.

I have a bunch of DD and HD disks of my own sounds from the early 90's that I want to backup/convert. Im currently using the V2.5.6.6 software on an old Dell Latitude C840 running XP, however I cant seem to read the real disk with this utility. Is this to do with the 300RPM drive interface Casio used? Ive tried Omnifop too with no success. Is there a method of backing up FZ disks, if so does it require a 300RPM drive? how were FZF images created from disks in the first place?

Kind regards
