Floppy adaptation for EPS16+

Post by pablo349 »

Hello everyone. Do someone know how to modify a PC sony mpf920 z/161 floppy to work on my EPS 16+?

The original Panasonic Floppy drive died long ago so i had it working with the hXc for years until i gave it to a friend.
Now i wanted to use it again but dont have any drive, so i found a 2004 sony floppy drive from an old computer.

I've already turned it to ds0 but i dont know hoy to procede from now.

Any help will be really appreciated. Thank you!!

No, i'm asking, considering your knowledge on fdd pinout config, if anyone knows how to modify the SONY floppy to work on EPS16+. I modded the sony mpf920, but when i press the LOAD or navigation buttons, the ''change disk'' signal goes to 0 volts each time and impides me to navigate or load any instrument diskette, loading every time and saying ''disk drive not ready'' . I dont know if its a ''ready'' signal or change disk problem.
This is how i have it right now
