Emulator 2,Gotek drive

Post by strandwache »

Hey guys,
I have a problem with my Emulator 2 and the Gotek drive.
The Emulater tells me,insert performance disk.
I could not load any file.
The Os 3.1 is also not loading.
Regular drive is in slot 1 and Gotek in 2.
I am not a real specialist in Computers.
Sorry,for this:-)
Do you have any ideas about this problem.
Kind regards

Matthias

USB HxC Floppy Emulator
Push up & down for the setting menu
(c) HxC 2001 v 3.4.10.1a
(c) Jean-Francois DEL NERO
I am working with a Mac.
I just drpped all files on a Fat 16 USB stick.
Any idea?
Thanks

QuickInstall_FloppyDiskImages,SDHxCFE_Emu_Emulator_II

Copied all files,DSKA0000.HFE-DSKA0099.HFE,emuii_os_3_1.hfe,HXCSDFE.CFG-normal,zm325.hfe to the stick

I also copied the folders of the sound libary, starting with aircraft.

The Gotek shows: Choose a file, then the first of libary,aircraft,747 overhat.

Even when I was loading a sound from Diskette, including Os,I cannot load any file from Gotek.

Is the Gotek set as drive 1 or 2 ? Which jumper setting have you used ?. Is the gotek LED always lit ?

Gotek is drive one,Disk drive is number 2.
The led`s are blinking not at the same time.
One after each other.
Should work.
My OS ,emuii_os_3_1.hfe,is an autoload OS?
Why is the maschine asking for a "Performance Disk"?
Really strange:-)

I changed the settings a bit.
Now the Gotek shows me,Autoboot.hfe not found.
Where can I find this file?

Please clear/reset the emulator settings (press the right button at power up) and remove any config file from the stick (not needed for you) .
Is the jumper set to S0 ?
