Please kindly support to get the problem gone.

Try to connect the floppy cable to the other way (colored wire to the other side).

and please give me more elements :
-> Old disk drive brand and model ?
-> Machine brand and model ?
-> Does this machine use "dos"/fat12/"readable by a computer" floppies ?

please post some Pictures of the machine and the old floppy disk drive.

My machine is an offsetpress printer "Komori Lithrone 40", using an TEAC FD 235hg c497.

Yes, they use FAT12. When I tried to saved any machine configuration to FDD, I can read them on my PC. They would be saved as txt file.

If I flipped the data cable (plug the colored wire on the other side), are they won't be affecting any other part of the machine ?
AFAIK, one row of the pin header is for ground, and other is for data/command/status signal. If we tried to flipped the connection, they would be missconnection on wiring. CMIIW.

Reconnect the floppy cable as you did in the first time , and try to change the interface mode :
-> remove the sd,
-> press the button "select"
-> Interface cfg
-> shugart.
-> exit

I have tried to select 'shugart' and anything left read from HFE, it doesn't worked. Both led still lit.

What about Dip switch configuration (ID0A-ID3A,ID0B-ID3B) ?

Did you see S:0 or S:1 at the second line ?

Yes, I see S:0 only on bottom right side of the display.
Does it means something ?
