Question : can you read a floppy with this format on a Windows machine ?

Yes I can read and write on machine with this format.

sorry jeff I cannot open on PC by vfdwin program or open by HXC in PC But can operate on my machine base on PC 9801uv11 only.

Is this a windows based machine ?

It's operating on dos system.
Can I send you clip of operating process.

So if you take one floppy disk of this machine, can you read it with a Windows machine ?

Cannot read on windows system machine or another system.

All of file can open only under PC98series machine only.

If you take it into floppy disk drive and double click to open file it just message

"The disk in drive A: is not formated"

Am I mean windows machine is run under windows system?yes or not.

Ok since VFD rely on Windows to access the file system, this will probably never work with VFD.

Anyway i am programming a new tool to open FAT floppy disk image under Windows/Linux/Mac.
With this one this should work.
So stay tuned and be patient

Are you finish program for read HFE file 1.2M on windows?
