Don't get me wrong, I love everything you guys have done, but I'm not 'feeling' the artwork here.
I don't like the font.. It's very 70's restaurant menu.
I don't like the disk picture.. It looks out of place and proportion.
The Lotharek graphic also looks awkward.

How about a decal with 'HxC' and that's it?

Maybe it's just me, but when I modify my audio gear (drum machines & samplers) I either try and keep it in line with the original design, or keep it very minimal and simple.. This design is neither, so I'd probably opt not to use the decal and paint mine black.

It's all very negative from me, so sorry for that, but if I don't speak up about how I (and my synth friends) feel about the artwork, I'll never forgive myself.

Either way, I'm still looking forward to installing this in my SP1200 !

seriously, we have to find a good solution to satisfy at least 51% customers with graphical design. it is impossible everyone is happy. In real life it looks much better - i promise - soon pictures at my www
We have different LIKES and DISLIKES. If we have the same, everybody would like to marry my wife, or everybody would like to ride the same car, etc..

So, finals are a little bit changed, 70`s style is intended, my logo is awkward anyway (like my brain nowadays, aleeping 2-4 hours daily..)

anyway, we can assure that SD EMUL F is functional and that is the most important. Metal case may always be painted in black (future option...)

I don't want to diminish your work, but i hope you will make a version without case so we can make our own case in any colour or shape we like.

For sure the response is no. BTW why you don't do this with the Rev C like many others ? The RevC is available since two years, and allows you to make your own case

Because the product must qualify (mainly EMC testing), and this cost lot of time and money.
The product is the board inside the case. Seperate them, and you got another product -> You need to pass all the tests again...
