I've been trying to get Workbench 1.3 working on my CDTV via the HxC floppy disk emulator.

I've tried lots of Workbench versions (ADF files) that are converted to the HxC format (HFE) with the HxC manager software.

All of the disk images I try to run come up with the same error message

"Error validating disk
Disk is unreadable"

All other converted disk images work fine (games etc). Even my Workbench 1.3 CD works ok.

Could this be a CDTV problem or a HxC problem?

I doubt its the original images as they all work ok in the WinUAE amiga emulator on my PC

None of the workbench 1.3 images work from the HxC but all game images are ok.

Seems odd that converting the workbench 1.3 image (ADF to HFE) would corrupt the file. What is special about the workbench image that would prevent it working?

they are correct, same as the manual

This is now fixed. I re-converted the HFE files from the original ADFs.

Jeff, the new firmware you sent, how is this different from the standard firmware on the website?
