Jumpers setting in cased SD HxC unit

Post by rockersuke »

Hello everybody!

I've just received a cased SD HxC (well, in fact I received it a a few weeks ago, but couldn't start to mess with it untill this evening, long story there :) ) which I pretend to use as an external drive "B" in my Amstrad CPC 6128 (and eventually in my Speccy +3, but that will come later). I got the right cables from urban-retro but now I haven´t got a clue about how the position of the jumpers in the back translate to what's suggested in the manual ^_^'.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance :)

OK! After hours of trial and error and scratching my head a lot it turned out to be number 2 ON and the rest OFF (provided that disk drive selector is disabled in settings). I still have to test some features but It looks like I have so much fun in the horizon! Thanks to everyone involved with this! :D

Jumpers are set :

1 - enables 1st drive on normal cable
2 - enables 2nd drive on normal cable
3 - enables 1st drive on twisted cable
4 - enables 2nd drive on twisted cable

Simple, present versions - i have returned to 3 jumpers rows

BTW: Your opinion about CASED VERSION is much appretiated, please
