Software upgrade

Post by tdziGer »

Hallo, Jeff. I have some problems with transferring data from PC to SD HxC Floppy Emulator.
I use SD HxC Floppy Emulator for CNC of embroidering machine. This machine has its own file format which is not visible in the operating systems newer than Windows 98. Special embroidery design program can coppy these files to a floppy disk but it is the problem.
Is it possible to add in your software emulation of real floppy drive? It will make work with your device more comfortable.

Jeff? Have you some problems with it? If you do this then I want to buy 40 processors with your firmware.

Yes, I have used this emulator. Just a bit uncomfortable. First you need to make the disk image. Then convert it to a format .hfe. It's a bit difficult for the average user. A little later I will give a link to the program and a couple of files for experiment.

Why don't you use another Floppy emulator on the PC to use directly the software with the HxC ?

Plug an SD HxC Floppy Emulator on the PC that you are using with the software.

Your software will write on one image on SDCard (as a normal floppy). After this you have just to get the HFE file and duplicate it if needed on other SDCard for your machines.
