Ok i see. And what about an modified USB floppy disk drive with the HxC inside ?

I thought that USB floppy drives would use dedicated controllers and just not floppy to usb converters. Any special brands or models?

In fact some of them use a slim floppy disk drive with a small FDC board.
Unfortunately i don't have brand model, but i will have a look.

Does it mean that you will add a floppy emulation in yours software? When do you plan to finish the work? And what is the price of processor with your firmware, I need nearly 50 pieces?

Since vfd seems to works very well (need to be tested on your side) , i don't see the point to add this into the hxc software.
You have just to convert the vfd img file to be able to use the disk into the hxc. this can be done with some batch script if you don't want use the HxC GUI.
