Hello,
We’ve in use two floppy-emulators on our coil-windingmachines.
At this moment we like to create an empty hfe file with the HxCFloppyEmulator program but don’t know the settings.
Is it possible for you the extract these settings from the attached hfe-file?
hfe-file settings
Re: hfe-file settings
Yes this is possible, but there are no attached hfe file ?
Re: hfe-file settings
Hello Jeff,
Tried to attached the file again, and get the message: "hfe extension not allowed".
Changed it into txt, thats also not allowed.
Can you tell me what to do?

Re: hfe-file settings
Hi,
Here is the disk setup :
- 80 tracks
- 1 side
- 300 RPM (i have a doubt about this setup : the original disk drive was in 5'1/4 format ?)
- MFM format
- 4 sectors per track
- 1024 bytes per sector
- Start sector ID : 0 (0 up to 3)
- Interface mode : ATARIST_DD_FLOPPYMODE (-> in fact the Generic Shugart mode should be better here).
You can get all these data with the new software with the new track viewer function:
