Floppy manager slot change

Post by endre1952 »

I'm pretty sure all slots are properly inserted and I save and reboot by pressing F10, but the Atari ST doesn't seem to recognize the disk change when I press either left or right. It's working just fine with my Amiga 500 computer. I'm using the latest beta firmware I think. I have a rev. B device in my ST and a rev. C. in my Amiga.

I've been try to load games by Sierra On-Line. One of them was Codename: Iceman. When I switch to Disk 2, the game doesn't seem to recognize it, I'm stuck at the disk change screen.

I can now confirm that the disk change works in some other games.

I'm no Atari ST expert, but would like to add that the disk change is not recognized while using the green desktop either. Clicking on the floppy icon will keep showing the content of the disk insterted before bootup.

In this case this is a jumper setting problem.
Have a look to the user manual.

Issue was actually a loose cable connection. Thanks!
