Video Questions,Scored an Atari 1040 STf

Post by skideric »

Know this is off topic here, but figured would be some Atari ST gurus here.
The 1040 STf i won on Ebay,if not the STfm will not be a simple cable(using 13 pin DIN) hook up for Comp (CVBS) Color.Have searched & found that only Models with "m"
in model # have the Comp/CVBS video out avail on the 13 Pin Connector. However i found a Diagram that that uses the RGB & H/V Sync signals to give Comp/CVBS out & it only uses Resistors in Series with RGB & H/V Sync.
Was wondering if anyone has used this or heard of it being used successfully. Source for this diagram is a VERY well respected Atari guy, Florian Dingler.
Any & all input Appreciated. Link to Diagram below.
