USB Floppy Emulator inside ST

Post by Cyprian » Sun Jun 16, 2013 1:39 pm

Hi All,
do you have any ideas how to install USB Floppy Emulator inside ST?
I'm trying to do that but the mounting holes have a different spacing than distance sleeves. Also USB port is locked by the metal shield

a floppy cable is really stiff and I don't want to break it by twisting it. Therefore would be cool to have a floppy drive connector mounted in a opposite way.
Actually, it is not a big issue that it is mounted upside down. I can put a higher distance sleeves and USB port will not be locked.
But my main issue is that mounting holes do not fit to ST's floppy distance sleeves (marked red). :( Now floppy drive emulator isn't stable enough due to it's fastened with only two screws.
